Letter from The Chapter President
Dear Kiwis, Friends and Supporters,
Happy New Year! The holiday festivities linger just a little longer, but there’s no stopping YEAR 2025!
Before we move forward however, I want to express my gratitude and appreciation to Morton’s The Steakhouse, in NYC, and to Kiani Latrique who coordinated our very first Holiday Social, on December 4th. I also want to thank our members and guests in joining us for a delightful luncheon celebration. Photos are now available on our Photo Album page.
Every January, our Chapter dues are collected by the end of the month. We kindly remind you to please send your $25.00 checks and mail no later than January 31, 2025 to: The Kiwi Club of Long Island, P. O. Box 35, Brightwaters, NY 11718. Please keep in mind that to be a Kiwi member of any local chapter, you must first pay the biennial fee of $50.00 to The Kiwi Club. National dues can now be paid online. Please see www.thekiwiclub.org for details.
Effective January 1, 2025, the Manhattan Chapter will be dissolved due to their inactivity for a number of years. For those interested in joining The Kiwi Club and want to find out more about a local chapter in your area, Club EWR and The Long Island Chapter are open to welcoming prospective members. Contact us on this website for more information about The Kiwi Club. Stay tuned for more developing news to come!
Voted by the membership in August 2024, the amended change in schedule to our next luncheon meeting will be Wednesday, May 7. Please circle that date on your calendars.
Anyone interested in being an officer in our Chapter, please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
Wishing you and your families a happy, healthy, prosperous and peaceful New Year!
Cheers,
Eileen
